'Guangdong and Hong Kong Logistics Service Symposia' and 'Hong Kong Logistics Service Expo 2004', the first large-scale exhibition to promote Hong Kong Logistics organized by Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) after the implementation of CEPA, opens in Guangzhou on Mar. 3rd.
CEPA brings modern logistics concept from Hong Kong to Guangdong, and provides Hong Kong's logistics sector a brighter future by offering more space for cooperation between the sector and the world famous manufacturing industry of Guangdong, says You Ningfeng, vice governor of Guangdong province.
The exhibition provides a platform for logistics and other relative sectors of both sides to seek their potential business partners. In the future, HKTDC will exert effort on strengthen all kinds of business cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong companies and on boost the integration of Greater Pearl River Delta, says Christopher Cheng, Chairman of Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.
A total of 51 freight agencies from Hong Kong, logistics delegations from Guangdong, Fujian, Guangxi, Wuhan, Qingdao, and related service providers, such as freight, shipping, land transportation, and third/forth party etc. take part in this expo.
The main activities of the expo includes 'Guangdong and Hong Kong Logistics service cooperation and development conference', 'international trend of logistics management conference', 'Promotion of key logistics projects in Guangdong and Hong Kong', and 'Guangdong Policy Advisory Service and Business Partners Matching', etc.
