Fengzhu Park is an important part of the West Lake improvement project in Huizhou. It is aimed to become the fifth well-known parks in Guangdong province after Liangyuan Park, Keyuan Park, Yuyin Park and Qinghui Park.

The 29 buildings in the park have traditional architectural styles of the Lingnan culture, integrating characteristics of local residence courtyards that feature simple but elegant pink walls and black tiles.

The park covering an area of 30,000 square meters is divided into six scenic zones -- the main entrance, the fish zone, the culture zone, Gutong Museum, the waterfall and the lotus pond. It will become a sightseeing destination that allow tourists to enjoy the local ecology by viewing the birds, fish, lotus, plantation and rocks, and experience local art and culture with traditional music, poetry, paintings and tea.

There are also daily household appliances and farming tools displayed in the park, representing the local farming culture.

The park will be a culture and leisure attraction for locals.
