“This is the first time I saw the Lion Dance. It’s very impressive. I hold my breath as the lion take each leap. They must have practiced very hard. This performance should be introduced to outside China,” said Spanish reporter Diaz Sara from EFE.

The media delegation from Europe and countries along the maritime silk road were impressed by Foshan’s ancient architecture, historical heritage and traditional culture such as pottery art, paper cut, lion dance and martial arts, during their trip in Foshan Lingnan Tiandi and Zhonglian Dragon and Lion Dance Center.

To further showcase the city’s culture and tourism, Foshan is scheduled to launch a grand cultural event “Autumn Carnival” Nov. 7.
