Limburg hotspot named“World's Greatest Places” list

Prestigious American weekly, TIME Magazine, has proclaimed Cycling through Water one of the world's 100 must-see locations.

In fact, it's the only Belgian location listed, right in the middle of international greats like the Lascaux Cave in France, the Golden Bridge in Vietnam and the Tianjin Binhai Library in China.

Since the opening of “Cycling in Water” in the spring of 2016, nearly 500,000 cyclists (and even more people on foot) have traversed this path. On the international stage, the Limburg cycling network's newest attraction had already won international acclaim in Australia and the United States. Now it gets to add “World's Greatest Place” to an already impressive list.

This is the first year that TIME publishes a top 100 list. The magazine has a readership of 20 million with 45 million visitors to its website.
