   Home-Specials-GZ Bid for 2010 Asiad-Non-Gov Bid Report
Sports Games
Latest Updated by 2004-04-14 11:05:31

If Guangzhou's  bidding becomes successful, we will set up the composition of games,by referring to that in the Olympic Games. In addition to the 28 major games,we will add in up to 6 games (martial arts, golf, ,rattan ball, billiards, and Chinese chess) which bear eye-catching traits of Asian culture, thus pushing up the total number of games in the Asian Games to 33. Furthermore, we will also satisfy the requirements raised by the Olympic Council of Asia by adding in 2-3 games for the disabled especially. Besides, we will add in two exhibition events: shuttle cock and rock climbing.

We hope to enhance the level of sport skills in the whole Asia by holding a successful Asian Games, and reveal the great powers of Asia to the rest of the world.
