An exhibition on Guangzhou's bid for the 2010 Asian Games opened to the public at the Guangzhou Art Museum on April 21st. The exhibition was presented by the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games Bid Committee in preparation for the Olympic Council of Asia's evaluation committee. The exhibition includes eight themes: Guangzhou's economy, culture, historical traditions, urban developments, sports, preparations for the bid and its capabilities to host international sports events. In addition, 5,000 drivers from the Guangzhou Baiyun Taxi Group Co. Ltd submitted a signed banner with their vows to support the bid with their excellent service yesterday morning in front of Radio Guangdong's Broadcasting Center.
