An activity to promote Guangzhou's bid for the Asia Games was held at Beijing Road yesterday (March 28th). 14 Olympic and Asian champions from Guangdong came to sign autographs for sports fans and show them the Asia Games' golden medals. They also recited the slogan of 'Love Guangzhou, support the Asia games' bid to show the city's determination and confidence. Nearly 100,000 citizens joined them in signing their names in the long yellow cloth to show the support. In addition, Guangzhou's biggest travel agency, GZL International Travel Service Ltd., offered a one-day city trip with a sports theme yesterday. The 99-yuan special trip featured most of the city's spots, which appear in the publicity film from Guangzhou's bid for the Asia Games, including Yunxi Biological Park, the Guangzhou Stadium, the new airport and the Pazhou International Convention and Exhibition Center.
