Spring Festival is the most important traditional festival for Chinese people. From 23rd of the twelfth month till the eve of Chinese lunar year is the 'days to greet Spring Festival', during which people will sweep the dust in their house so as to greet the coming new year. About 10 days before the festival, people start being busy shopping presents for friends and relatives, new clothes for children, and lots of foods, chicken, duck, fish, meet, sweets and fruits, etc.
