a Hi-tech enterprise in Zhuhai
Guangdong hi-tech industry saw rapid development in the recent years. By the end of 2002, there are 102 state-level key hi-tech enterprises here, accounting for 10.2% of that of the country. The hi-tech industry sector specialized in electronic information, optical-mechanical-and-electronic integration, new material and bio-chemical has already taken shape. The province' takes the lead in development of the industry in China and its hi-tech product export accounts for 49% of that of the country.
