Deng Wu (C), the CCTV reporter who traveled aboard the Gotheborg III as it followed the ancient ocean Silk Road from Sweden to China, and his bride receive a model of the ship from crew members following their wedding ceremony Sunday. The newlyweds were treated to two wedding ceremonies, in Chinese and Western style, on the Chinese boat South China Sea God and the Gotheborg III.

The replica of the 18th-century merchant ship opened to the public on Sunday. It is expected to anchor in Shanghai on Aug. 29, and will be greeted by a two-month cultural festival along the Bund.
