A firework display to celebrate the arrival of the Swedish ship Gotheborg will be held at Zhoutouzui Wharf and the neighboring river in Guangzhou from 8:30 to 9:15 tonight (July 21).

Guangzhou Public Security Bureau reminded citizens yesterday of possible safety issues while enjoying the firework show. The Bureau stressed that citizens must park their cars in the designated locations and not to enter temporarily blocked road sections.

The Bureau also suggested that passersby on the cross-river bridges don't stop to watch the fireworks so as not to cause traffic congestion.
