Mr. Brutto earned undergraduate degrees in business and accounting from Loyola University, and a master's degree of business administration from Keller Graduate School of Management. As president of UPS International, Dan Brutto is responsible for all international package, freight forwarding and logistics businesses, as well as U.S. international package services. He is also a member of UPS's Management Committee, which is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company. In his 32 years of experience in UPS, he has held several senior management positions in operations, finance, marketing and business development. Later he also served as vice president and general manager for North and South America for UPS Supply Chain Solutions and as president of Global Transportation and Shared Services for the business unit. Most recently, Brutto was president of Global Freight Forwarding for UPS.

UPS is the largest provider of package delivery services in the world and a global-leading provider of supply-chain services. Founded in Seattle, Washington state in 1907, and headquartered in Atlanta, Geogia, UPS has its presence in over 200 countries and regions with more than 420,000 employees. It realized sales of $51.5 billion in 2008 and takes the 114th place in the 2009 Fortune 500 ranking.
UPS sponsored the logistics and package delivery services for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. After entering China in 1988, UPS now operates in over 330 cities with headquarter in Shanghai and employs more than 5000 people in the country.
UPS started a fast development in Guangdong since it has set a representative office in Guangzhou in 1994. UPS set its headquarter for fast delivery business of China in Guangzhou and founded a wholly-owned company, UPS China, in December 2004. UPS Capital, a company under UPS, announced in 2007 its cooperation with Shenzhen Development Bank and China Merchants Bank in jointing providing UPS Global Supply Chain Solutions which include a series of financial supply chain services. UPS declared in May 2008 that it would move its Asian transit center to Shenzhen by 2010 with an estimated investment of $180 million. The center is now under construction and will be in operation in early 2010. UPS currently employs over 1200 people in Guangdong.
