Implement and improve Guangdong and Hong Kong Conference mechanism

Upgrade the level of cooperation in manufacturing industry

1. Encourage enterprises invested by Hong Kong to set up research centers and headquarters in Guangdong; build brand name with independent intellectual property right; encourage HK enterprises to invest in northern mountainous area, east and west wings of Guangdong.
2. Enhance the communication with relative departments in Hong Kong, in a bid to aid Guangdong's private enterprises to invest in Hong Kong.
3. Introduce to the world, especially to Fortune 500, the investment environment of Greater Pearl River Delta and to attract foreign investor to transfer projects which are more tech-advanced and with greater value-added to the area.
4. Better investment environment: accelerate construction of ports connecting Guangdong and Hong Kong to improve clearance ability and efficiency. Establish fair-trade information exchange mechanism and join hands to deal with problems emerged in international trading, such as the 'anti-dumpling' issue.
Set up platform to urge cooperation between Guangdong's manufacturing industry and Hong Hong's service industry

Guangdong and Hong Kong will set about research and plan on "Coordinating Development of city cluster of Greater Pearl River Delta", which push this city cluster's shape-taking, and help to raise the competitiveness of the region and set foundation for the Pan-Pearl River Delta regional cooperation and development.
Enhance Hong Kong and Guangdong's cooperation in some key hi-tech aspects

Cooperation in education

The effort to strengthen Guangdong and Hong Kong's cooperation in education will focus on four aspects:
1. Carrying out teacher's language (Mandarin & English) training.
2. Appointing Guangdong teachers of primary and middle schools to be teaching advisors in Hong Kong.
3. Organizing seminar in middle schools and universities.
4. Supporting school-running cooperation projects.
Promoting exchange between civil servants of Guangzhou and Hong Kong

The exchange between civil servants in Guangdong and Hong Kong will not only promote the management and service level of both governments, but also better the sharing of human resources between the two regions, so as to fire up the implementation of CEPA and the realization of PPRD cooperation.
According to the Guangdong and Hong Kong Cooperation Conference, the 7th session, both parts plan to cooperate in the following aspects:
1. Organize exchange activities in proper sequence;
2. Broaden the field of communication and cooperation and strengthen the training exchange; Strengthen the information exchange
Boost new tourism cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong upon the launch of PPRD cooperation

Guangdong and Hong Kong have already held a series of tourism promotion activities together in many countries and areas such as Japan, Korea, France, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.
In the trend of PPRD tourism cooperation, the two regions will continue to join hands to participate in a series of international exhibition, to optimize individual HK travel passage, to strengthen tourism quality control, to improve Customs Clearance efficiency, as well as to advance tourism promotion means and make the implication process of individual travel passage more convenient and smooth.
At the same time, both parts will work together to promote tourism cooperation of the Pan-PRD members based on the successful experience of cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong.
