With Pan-PRD Regional Cooperation Frame Agreement signed, the first Pan-Pearl River Delta (PPRD) Regional Cooperation and Development Forum closes today (Jun 3) in Guangzhou, the capital city of Guangdong Province.
The 9 provinces/regions and the 2 SARs leaders sign the frame agreement, which highlights regional cooperation in industry and investment, commerce and trade, tourism, agriculture, service, science and culture, information construction, environmental protection, sanitation and epidemic prevention.
According to the frame agreement, the PPRD regional cooperation is to promote the implementation of CEPA.
The regional cooperation will establish a meeting system including governors' conference held annually, secretary-general coordinate conference, which take charge of daily works, as well as departments implementing concrete measures and plan.
