Guangdong is the ONLY place where arrangements in CEPA can be fully realized, says Wan Jifei, principal of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in the opening ceremony of CEPA Promotion Week for mainland, Hong Kong & Macao, Guangzhou section on Feb 11th in Guangzhou.
In his speech, he says Guangdong is already tied with the two SARs in many aspects and CEPA will further exalt the relationship. He also introduces that the promotion week aims to give a floor for the two SARs to fully display their economic developments and construction achievements and for enterprises and companies from the two places to seek business opportunities in mainland.

Tang Bingquan | On the ceremony, Tang Bingquan, vice governor of Guangdong, expresses that Guangdong government will continue its efforts in promoting the cooperation within Greater PRD in his speech.
Tam Pak Yuen, Secretary for Economy and Finance of Macao SAR and Tsang Chun-wah, Secretary for Commerce, Industry and Technology also make speeches.
On the forum after the ceremony, CEPA-related governmental departments and trade organizations introduce their new policies and latest work after CEPA coming into force in Jan 1st this year.

Besides the forum, achievement of cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao will be displayed in Guangzhou Jinhan Exhibition Center from Feb 11th to 14th. With an area of 8,000 square meters, the exhibition is divided into five sections: the CEPA Hong Kong & Macao theme section, the service & trade section, the tourism promotion section, the production manufacturing and sale section and the foreign investment and eco-tech cooperation negotiation section.
This is the last section of the whole CEPA promotion week in mainland, with the first in Beijing and second in Shanghai.
