After attending a CEPA forum, HKGCC CEO Eden Woon expressed that foreign investors may enjoy the preferential treatments under CEPA by simply acquiring a Hong Kong company, or by establishing a qualified company in Hong Kong.
A qualified company means a company that has operated in Hong Kong for 3 years.
Eden Woon hopes that efforts should be made to give a definition to the term of Products Made in Hong Kong under CEPA so as to facilitate investors to set down their investment plan in Hong Kong or in the Mainland.
