The Fourth Session of the 10th Guangdong Provincial People's Congress successfully concluded yesterday (February 27) after completing all agendas.
The conference approved the government report and budget proposal for 2006 and the development plan for the 11th Five Year Plan period from 2006 to 2010.
The conference also approved selections of several leaders of Guangdong's government and Guangdong Provincial People's Congress. You Ningfeng, former Guangdong vice governor, was selected vice director of the standing committee of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress. Tong Xing, secretary of Dongguan CPC committee, selected vice Guangdong governor, Lin Musheng, former Secretary of Shantou CPC committee, selected vice Guangdong governor.
