An art exhibition of celebrated French artist Daniel Buren kicks off in China's capital city of Beijing.
Themed "From Sky To Temple of Heaven," the exhibition opened at the Temple of Heaven Park.
The Artist set 230 standards, five meters in length, in pedestals. The blue flags harmoniously melt with the blue lapis-lazuli tiling of the temple and the blue sky, and lead up to the magnificent view of the "Altar of Prayer for Good Harvest".
The exhibition will last till November 10, 2004. It is a part of the French Culture Year which opened Sunday (Oct 10) in Beijing.
