Chinese girls wrapped up their ninth consecutive Asiad gymnastics team title in Doha on Sunday to repeat Chinese men's feast one day later at Aspire Stadium.

The Chinese women's team collected a total of 239.400 points, 10.850 ahead of the silver takers DPR Korea (228.550). Japan finished the third in 225.950.

China established their lead just after the first apparatus on vault by 0.850 points. DPR Korea's only stronghold came at the uneven bars after China's Pang and Zhou made errors of dismounting,where they grasped 57.650 points, 0.300 points better than China in the sole discipline.

But China rallied back to set up a large edge through their superb beam actions by taking in 63.400 points against DPK Korea's56.900 to cushion more than 7.050 points advantage heading for the final apparatus of floor exercise.

China continued to expand their superiority on the floor and won the title by an edge of 10.850 points to be crowned on team event.

China's only mistake came to the uneven bars with Pang Panpan falling down and Zhou Zhuoru taking a big step forward on landing. Both of them are the members of China's squad winning the team title at Aarhus gymnastic worlds.

China's triple world champion Cheng Fei scored 15.700 points on floor by a set of flawless and elegant performance to spearhead all movements of the night among the cheers and applause from the large group of Chinese construction workers in Qatar.

"I just feel intimate and exciting to see our Chinese athletes win gold medals one after the other," said Jia Yuanhong, a construction worker from Chinese Sichuan Province.

"I came to Qatar in April. Our construction company organized us to watch the Games. We need only to pay 10 Qatar Riyals (3 US dollars) and the company will offer the rest of the fare," added Jia.

"In the stadium, you can always feel the day of China as we are too strong to beat. You can hear the Chinese traditional music after awarding ceremony, so you just feel at home with these music hanging around," said Jia.

Chinese girls put on big smiles with mascots in hand to answer the news conference. "I made a mistake when I was dismounting from the uneven bars. The landing is an persistent problem for me which I did not solve before attending the Games, so I made the same mistake today," said Pang Panpan.

"I get used to be the first performer of the Chinese team. I started the competition in a few apparatuses at Aarhus gymnastic worlds, and I did that again this time, so I feel quite all right to be the starters now. I am satisfied with my performance today," said He Ning.
