To commemorate the birth centenary of the late Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping, a fine art exhibition featuring 66 paintings from 46 local artists is currently being held at the Shenzhen Art Museum.
With the paintings divided into three sections, "Hello, Xiaoping," "Years of Passion," and "Testifying Splendor," artists express their feelings for the late Chinese leader and the city by presenting the dramatic changes of the city in the past 20 years in an artistic way.
Staged alongside the exhibition is another painting exhibition titled "Shenzhen in the Eyes of Artists from outside Shenzhen." Over 30 landscapes in traditional Chinese wash painting by famous Chinese painters are also on show in the museum.
The exhibition closes on Sept. 8.
