A collection of stamps and other historic files on the military life of late Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping (1904-1997) was officially published on Wednesday, to mark the 100th anniversary of his birth.

Deng, a native of Sichuan Province, southwest China, was one of the top military leaders of the Communist Party of China (CPC)-ledarmed forces and the chief architect of the country's reform and opening policy.
