Guangzhou art exhibit in France
Latest Updated by 2004-06-09 10:05:12

As part of Sino-France Culture Year, an exhibition on contemporary paintings and calligraphy by Guangzhou artists will be held in France’s Lyon city library between June 10 and 25.

Co-sponsored by the Guangzhou Library and the Guangzhou Painting Academy, the exhibit is aimed at communicating the traditions of Chinese paintings and calligraphy to the French, helping the French learn more about Guangzhou, and promoting cultural exchange and development between the two countries. The Lyon city library will also be holding a retrospective exhibition on Lyon’s China-France College in December at the Guangzhou Library.
