Mr. Ou Guangyuan says chicken are fit to eat.
Chickens being sold in Guangdong are under strict checking process and are fit to eat, says Ou Guangyuan, vice secretary of Guangdong provincial CPC committee yesterday (Feb 2nd).
Yesterday Ou invites journalists to enjoy a feast of chickens in a local restaurant with eight dishes of chicken cooked over high heat.
Mr. Ou also stresses that bird flu is controllable and governments of different levels in Guangdong are doing very well in preventing and monitoring the disease.
