Guangdong athletes to the Athens Olympic Games returned home in triumph this morning. They were warmly welcomed by Deputy Secretary-general of Guangdong CPC committee Cai Dongshi and vice Guangdong governor Xu Deli at the airport. 11 Guangdong athletes got medals at the games, with 7 got golds, 3 got silver medals and 1 got a bronze medal. This was the best performance of Guangdong team in all Olympic Games and Guangdong ranked No.1 among all the provinces.
