The preparatory leading group of GDICC met July 5 to discuss plans to adopt recent GDICC proposals as well as the adjustment of GDICC plenary arrangements.

A total of six proposals from GDICC 2005 will be adopted, including:

1) Upgrading "Made-in-Guangdong" Manufacturing in to "Designed-in-Guangdong" (by Advisor Pekka Ala-Pietila of Nokia Corporation)

2) Building an "Innovation Voucher" System

3) Upgrading the Involvement of the Enterprises in Vocational Education and Enhancing Exchange and Cooperation between Education Sectors and Enterprises. (both by Advisor Alexander Hendrik George Rinnooy Kan of ING Group)

4) Development and Utilization of Radio Frequency Identification (by Advisor John. B. Menzer of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.)

5) Developing Enterprise Management Forum (by Observer Peter K. Yam of Emerson Electric Company)

6) Constructing a Recycled Water System (by Advisor Tsuji Tohru of Marubeni Corporation)
