Mr. Peter Leupp, Executive Vice President of Power Systems of ABB Ltd., arrived at Guangzhou yesterday afternoon (Nov. 12). He was the first advisor arrive the city to attend the 2007 plenary of the International Consultative Conference on the Future Economic Development of Guangdong Province (GDICC), which will open on Nov 15.
It is Mr. Leupp鈥檚 second time to attend the GDICC. 鈥淚 will share my and the ABB鈥檚 experience on innovation with Guangdong in this plenary鈥, Mr. Leupp revealed in the airport.
He also pointed out that innovation is not only the advance of products and technology, but also the change of thoughts and mode.
ABB, a leader in power and automation technologies, signed an agreement on energy saving with Guangdong in November, 2006.聽 According to the agreement, ABB will help 1000 Guangdong enterprises to find out measures to cut energy consume.
ABB has a strong presence in Guangdong, with three sales and engineering branch companies in Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Dongguan, and two manufacturing joint venture companies in Zhongshan and Jiangmen.聽
