 Executive Vice President, Siemens Limited China
聽聽聽聽Mr. Andreas Matth茅 is Executive Vice President of Siemens Limited China and President of Power Transmission and Distribution Group, Siemens Ltd., China. In the role as President, Mr. Matth茅 is responsible for Siemens PTD鈥檚 overall operations in China; he also plays a key role in development of Siemens PTD鈥檚 new projects in China. Since his accession in November 2004, Siemens PTD鈥檚 China business has been keeping growing steadily.
聽聽聽聽Prior to holding current position, he was appointed as President of Power Automation in 2001. In 2004 he took additional responsibility in China, where he was the Chairman of the Board of Siemens Power Automation Ltd. in Nanjing.
聽聽聽聽Before relocated to Nuremberg, Germany as Vice President of Power Automation responsible for Sales and Marketing of Protection Systems in 2000, he spent three years in South Africa Siemens Ltd.-- Johannesburg, where he was responsible for Siemens Power Automation and Energy Management System business in Southern African countries.
聽聽聽聽Mr. Matth茅 has rich experience in power transmission and distribution. He was born in Duesseldorf, Germany. He started his career as Project Planning Engineer at Siemens AG in 1986. From 1989 to 1992, he worked as Sales Engineer for Power Transmission and Distribution in regional office Wuppertal, Germany. In 1992 he moved to Nuremberg and took over the position of Regional Sales Manger for Protection and Substation Automation and later in 1995 he was appointed as Vice President of support department within the Power Automation business unit.
