Executive Chairman of Shell Companies in China
Lim Haw Kuang, Malaysian, studied at Imperial College, University of London under a Shell scholarship and graduated with a Computing Science degree in 1978. He joined Shell in Malaysia in the same year and has since served in various capacities in IT, Finance, Natural Gas, Exploration and Production, Oil Products and Corporate Head Offices in different Shell operations. In 1985, he was sponsored by the company to study at International Management Institute, Geneva and graduated with a MBA in International Management. Currently he is Vice President, Strategy for Shell International. His previous assignments included   - President, Oil Products for Asia Pacific and Middle East (Singapore 2002-2004)   - Chairman, Shell Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur 1999-2002) and Managing Director, Shell Malaysia Exploration and Production (Miri 1997-2002)   - Senior Corporate Adviser, Asia Pacific, Shell International (London 1996-1997)   - Business Development Manager for Former Soviet Union and Sakhalin, Shell International Gas (London 1994-1996)     Haw Kuang is the Honorary President of Business Council for Sustainable Development in Malaysia and has been awarded state honours by the Malaysian government. He enjoys jungle trekking and fishing in his spare time.   Haw Kuang is married with 2 children.
