Canton Fair water bus service is launched to provide merchants and guests with a comfortable transit featuring both ease of use and beautiful scenery. It starts from Pazhou International Convention Center Ferry Pier and ends at Xidi Ferry Pier.

Founded in the spring of 1957, the China Import and Export Fair, also called Canton Fair, is held in Guangzhou during the spring and autumn of every year. The 115th Canton Fair kicks off today, and lasts to May 4.According to past events, passenger flow at Baiyun International Airport will be the highest on the last day of each phase and the day after, during which checked baggage service’s peak hours will be from 6 to 7 am and 5 to 6 pm.Fair related traffic within the city is always heaviest during the hours when daily activities come to a close. In order to provide merchants and guests with a comfortable transit option featuring both ease of use and beautiful scenery, Guangzhou Ferry Company is launching a "Water Bus" service with an extended 12km special route. Here are the details:Each day from April 15 to 18 during Phase 1 of the Fair, two water buses will set off from Pazhou International Convention Center Ferry Pier at 6:15 pm and 6:30 pm respectively. There are four stops along the route: Haixinsha Ferry Pier, Guangzhou Tower Ferry Pier, Tianzi Ferry Pier and Xidi Ferry Pier. See the chart below:

The company plans to open two services each day during Phase 1 but only one daily service during Phase 2 (April 23-26) and Phase 3 (May 1-4). However, organizers have maintained a flexible schedule, meaning that more services could be put into practice if there is large passenger demand. It is important to note that this line is intended to better serve Canton Fair attendees. As such, it is in service only during the exhibition and is a one-way route.
