Cao Lei won the women's 75kg division by a big margin to give China the seventh weightlifting gold medal at the Beijing Olympics in Beijing on Friday.
It's the first time Chinese lifter won gold in this category at the Olympics.
In the Snatch, Cao was the last to step onto the floor and broke the Olympic record with her third attempt of 128kg.
During the Clean and Jerk, Cao set a new Olympic record by lifting 154kg with her second attempt and won the gold medal with a total weight of 282Kg.
Vazhenina Alla of Kazakhstan took the silver medal with a total weight of 266kg.
Evstyukhina Nadezda of Russia took the bronze medal with a total weight of 264kg.
