Introduction

Billiard Sports have a family of games that is played on a table, with a cue stick. The cue stick is used to strike balls that move around on the table.

Billiard Sports include: billiards, carom, pool and snooker. The tables for snooker and billiards are the same, and they are the largest table, eight and nine ball pool are played on a more compact table, while carom uses a table which has no pockets. Billiard Sports require great touch, feel and excellent hand to eye co-ordination.

Billiard Sports have been part of Asian Games from 13th Asian Games, Bangkok, 1998.
