China beat Korea 3-2 (21-25, 22-25, 25-10, 25-17, 16-14) in a thrilling games to claim the gold medal in women's volleyball at the Guangzhou Asian Games on November 27, 2010. It was China's 199th gold in Guangzhou, 16 more than the previous best tally of 183 set by China in the 1990 Beijing Asian Games.

The bronze medal went to Kazakhstan, beating DPR Korea 3-0 on November 27.
