The 99th Chinese Export Commodities Fair will commence in Guangzhou tomorrow (April 15th). The fair will be held in two complexes including Liu Hua Complex and Pazhou Complex. The two complexes will have different exhibition focuses in the upcoming first exhibition phase, which begins tomorrow till April 20th.
Liuhua complex will display categories that are comprised of textile, costumes, and medical health care commodities. The Pazhou Complex will exhibit merchandises belonging to the industrial category.
The fair Vice Secretary Xu Bing predicted that the total number of buyers, domestic exhibitors and related visitors is expected to reach 450,000. He also said that this year's session will provide over thirty thousand booths, an increase of 1,250 booths compared with last year.
Xu concluded that the fair distinguishes itself from the previous sessions with the features including; more overseas buyers are expected to do direct business with the exhibitors and the fair plans to investigate cases that violate intellectual property rights.
The second phase of the fair will begin April 25th.
