The 100th China Export Commodities Fair (Canton Fair) will be held from October 15 to 30.

Chen Guo, deputy director of the Fair¡¯s leader team and secretary-general of the Guangzhou government, said that many important domestic and international guests would attend this fair.

A series of cerebrations will be held at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall from October 16 to 21. Like the previous one, this fair will have two phases: phase one from Oct. 15 to 20 and phase two from Oct. 25 to 30.

The two sessions will be held at both the Pazhou and Liuhua complexes. The exhibition hall will cover an area of 280,000 square meters, 4.5 percent larger than the last fair.

It is estimated that 300,000 people will attend this fair. On October 15, there will have a live broadcast of the opening ceremony on CCTV. Memorial stamps will also be issued.
