Mainland "CUP card" enters Macao

"CUP card", China Union Pay Card, enters Macao on September 8th.

Cardholders can use CUP cards, issued by 65 mainland banks, at ATM (automatic teller machines) and POS (point of sale) in Macao and no extra money is charged in money transfer and currency exchange.

The operation boosts the cooperation of banks in mainland and Macao. Furthermore, this operation tightens the economic and tourism cooperation between mainland and Macao.
