Individual HK, Macao Tour to cover six more GD cities

It is released by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Public Security that from January 1, 2004, citizens from six cities in Guangdong, including Shantou, Chaozhou, Meizhou, Zhaoqing, Qingyuan and Yunfu, will be permitted to visit Hong Kong and Macao individually.

By then, citizens from a total of 13 Guangdong cities get permitted to take individual trip to Hong Kong and Macao.

All Guangdong residents will be eligible to visit Hong Kong as individuals by the middle of next year.
