Guangzhou Wetland Forest Park, first of its kind in China, will be built on Shibayong, Nansha of Guangzhou, with an area of 13.3 mln sq.m..
This area is 70km to Guangzhou, with over 2 mil sq.m. wetland, 266.7 thousand sq.m. mangrove, 20,000 migratory birds and 300 years old log cabin.
According to some Aves experts, the wetland has become an important habitat for millions of rare migratory birds within 10 years. At lest 24 kinds of migratory birds fly here every year, including heron, tern, white egret, mandarin duck, etc.
This wetland forest park will not be only a scenery spot, but also another popular science base in Guangzhou, which embodies the concern of habitants in Guangzhou for environmental protection.
