A photography contest named "Love for our land" is held in Zhongshan City, a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in South China's Guangdong Province recently, drawing citizens' concern for the exploitation, utilization, management and protection of land resources.
The contest, co-conducted by the Bureau of Land Resources of Zhongshan City, Zhongshan Photographers' Association and Zhongshan Pictorial, is also held to celebrate the 14th National Public Land Day on June 25th, which is themed "develop with scientific view, treasure each inch of land".
The contest attracts more than 500 pieces of works, among which 48 were awarded prizes.
