| Singer Kid Rock and actress Pamela Anderson | Pamela Anderson and her on-again/off-again boy-friend Kid Rock will be husband and wife by month's end, US Weekly magazine reported.
The former Baywatch star and the Detroit rap-rocker, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, will exchange vows on July 29 aboard a yacht near the French Riviera city of St. Tropez, according to the celebrity magazine.
Anderson's spokeswoman declined to comment but US quoted an Anderson representative as saying, "They have been close for a very long time and decided that now is the right time to take the next step."
On her online diary, Anderson hinted on July 11 that she had "made some big decisions," before she announced on the site Tuesday: "I'm finally getting remarried. It's been a whirlwind. Spontaneous but well thought through."
Though the Detroit rocker and Anderson had been spotted together in Europe earlier this month, the wedding news surprised many.
The high-flying couple have been romantically linked since the early 2000s but broke off their relationship in 2003. They once became engaged in the Las Vegas desert in April 2002, but never set a wedding date.
Anderson also said that her children are prepared for the marriage. "They know the truth and they are strong, smart kids," she said. "They love their dad. They love their new Step Dad who they've known for years."
Anderson and her first husband, Tommy Lee, divorced in 1998 after three years of marriage. They have two sons, Brandon, 10, and Dylan, 8.
Kid Rock has a 13-year-old son, Bob Jr.
"I'm moving on," the blond actress declared. "I feel like I'm finally free ... I'm in love."
