Worker of the SMT (Surface-mount technology) production line in TCL production base is checking carefully the circuit board just off line.

 

The Huizhou-based TCL International Holdings Limited, the leading multimedia electronic products manufacturer in China, teamed with French company Thomson, the worldwide leader in video technologies, products and services on November 3rd, 2003 to form the world largest television production joint venture.

 

The Joint venture, named TCL-Thomson Electronics, which is to start operation in July this year, aims to produce 18 million television sets annually, making itself the leading global television manufacturer.
