Starting from 2018, Guangdong launched a program for training chefs in Cantonese cuisine to promote the catering industry. The program has involved about 1,200 catering companies, and 12,000 people were employed.

Zhu said that good food is made with good ingredients, and chefs can guide farmers in what produce they should grow.
