The Third China (Shenzhen) International Fashion Festival kicked off at Dalang Fashion Town in Shenzhen on the morning of Jan. 18, 2018. A total of 12 fashion events gathering fashion icons from Russia, America, France, Britain and China were held during the two-day festival. A shopping carnival was also held simultaneously and will last until Jan. 28.

At the opening ceremony, a “global fashion city index” was released by Shenzhen Fashion Designers Association and China Textile And Apparel Education Society. It’s worth mentioning that Shenzhen ranks sixth only after New York, London, Paris, Milan and Tokyo.

On the morning of Jan. 18, a press conference featuring five famous Shenzhen designers arouse extensive attention of fashion lovers from home and abroad. Many professionals and fashion icons attended the conference and enjoyed the magnificent fashion feast provided by talented local designers.

In addition, a forum with the theme of “building a community of global fashion education” was held during the festival to promote the exchange of fashion industry among countries and regions.
