Fashion Silk Road starts in SZ

The 2nd China (Shenzhen) International Fashion Festival that lasted for 2 days came to a successful close on the night of Jan. 7.


Around 500 people including professionals from the fashion field such as heads of fashion associations, magnates of fashion business and directors of fashion colleges as well as media from international cities like Paris, New York, London, Milan, Tokyo, Seoul, Hong Kong and Shenzhen were all present at the opening ceremony of the festival.


“The 2nd China (Shenzhen) International Fashion Festival is of high level. It integrates basically all the high-end fashion resources around the world and makes a good platform for communication and exchange between talents,” said Iracema Trevisan Carneiro, chief graphic designer for women wear and readymade garments as well as the creative consultant for Dior, Tory Burch and Nike.


Besides, this fashion festival also marked the launch of the “new fashion Silk Road” as well as the inauguration of the “new Silk Road think tank commission.”


Leveraging its international platform, professional perspective and market-based operation mode, the 2nd China (Shenzhen) International Fashion Festival has gathered all the cutting-edge and international fashion elements in Shenzhen to upgrade the city’s fashion soft power and build it into a fashion city that lead in the fashion field.
