Wuzhishi (Five Finger Stone) refers to five peaks that resembles the five fingers of a palm—Baoding Stone (the thumb), Luohan Stone (the index finger), Tianzhu Stone (the middle finger), Xianglong Stone (the ring finger) and Baogai Stone (the little finger), and its highest peak stands over 460 meters above sea level.
The scenic area boasts five wonders (its stones, vines, crevices, trees and caves), eight attractions (Jianmen Pass, Shilin Temple, Clever Spring, Hunyuan Tower, Thin strip of sky, Angel Stone, Longwu Palace, Qingyun Road ), over 60 other scenic spots, over 1000 species higher plants of 200 genera from 70 families and over 30 species of wild animals.
It is pleasant in four seasons with a subtropical monsoon climate and beautiful scenery that rivals that of Guilin. As an emerging tourist resort in Guangdong, it is definitely an excellent choice for a weekend getaway.
