As the national day holiday is just around the corner, residents are planning their trips during the holiday. It is necessary to make a good travel plan for the weather before going out. How about the weather over the 7-day holiday?
Autumn is coming in Guangdong?
Recently, some netizens voiced a speculation that autumn is about to come in Guangdong, because of temperature drops in the morning and evening.
According to the statistics of previous years, autumn usually falls in the middle of October, the beginning of November, and the middle of November respectively in the northern, middle, and southern parts of Guangdong. Therefore, it’s an illusion of "autumn" that only comes in the morning and evening.
As of 9:49 this morning, 95 high temperature alerts became effective in Guangdong, meaning the highest temperature in these areas would reach 35°C. Among them, 10 cities in northern Guangdong have been upgraded to a higher orange alert for high temperatures, with their highest temperature expected to reach 37 °C.
Super typhoon will hit Guangdong?
Jangmi, the 16th typhoon of the year, will move towards Japan and have no direct impact on Guangdong, but the hot dry wind caused by the typhoon will affect eastern China.
Therefore, it’s only natural to conclude the weather over the National Day holiday in Guangdong will be hot. Remind yourself to be prepared for summer like heat when travelling during the holiday.
