Six people were killed in a fire at a hotel in the western U.S. state of Nevada overnight, and a woman believed to have set the fire was arrested Wednesday, media reports said.
The fire at Mizpath Hotel, Reno, Tuesday night also injured some 30 people.
The reports said a woman, Valerie Moore, set fire to a mattress in her hotel room, which touched off the blaze at the three-story historic brick building at the city's casino district, killing six people and injuring some 30 others.
Local police were still trying to find out why the woman had set the fire, the city's deadliest since 1962.
