May 19 marked the tenth day of European photographers' tour in Guangdong and a farewell party was held in Guangzhou, their last stop.

"Through their lenses the photographers are not only telling stories about Guangdong but also capturing the province's landscape, economic development and daily life of citizens, which shows the harmony of Guangdong Province," said Deng Hong, deputy director of the Information Office of Guangdong Provincial Government.

"All of the photographers shot more than 1,500 pictures each day. They also selected their masterpieces to post on social networks. They were trying to introduce and recommend Guangdong to their friends all over the world. Some of them hope to hold exhibitions in Guangdong in the future," said Deng.

The event's organizers, the Information Office of Guangdong Provincial Government and the Provincial Tourism Administration, said the pictures collected from the photographers will be displayed in five European embassies in China as well as in some Chinese enterprises and in Confucius Institutes around the world.

"We are planning to hold photographic exhibitions in Milan, Rome, and Müchen and we hope to display the pictures of Guangdong which were taken by European photographers," said Zhang Zhigan, Executive Deputy Director General of Guangdong Information office.

The organizers also said that some photos would be displayed in the Guangdong Pavilion of the Milan 2015 Expo as well as being used in some Chinese media, including newspapers, magazines and websites.
