| Yesterday, Vice Premier Zhang Dejiang announced the opening of the 5th China International Small and Medium Enterprises Fair (CISMEF) in Guangzhou, together with China-Korea SME Expo.
The fair this year has 3706 exhibitors, with foreign enterprises taking over 1500 exhibition booths. Beside the commodity display, the fair opened two service introduction booths for enterprises dedicated in providing finance, telecommunication, logistics and retail business. The three sectors for foreign exhibitors are Korea pavilion, Asia-Europe SME cooperation pavilion and a pavilion for enterprises from other countries and regions. The fair is expected to attract over 100,000 visitors.
The fair, with four year history, has now developed into one of the most important annual business exhibitions in south China, especially for the SMEs of China and other countries and regions.
After this event, the 104th Canton Fair will open mid next month in Guangzhou.
