| The safe milk products of the brands on the tainted milk producer list reappeared on the shelves in Guangzhou鈥檚 supermarkets yesterday, but few resdients chose these brands. The liquid milk drink of leading milk producer Yili, Mengniu and Guangming saw biggest sales drop and the demand for local brands, Yantang and Xiangmanlou, soared.
According to the Guangzhou Commodity Product Watchdog, most of the sold tainted milk powders had been recalled.
Many milk brands are now doing promotion in supermarkets, and some stuff said the promotion started before the tainted milk news came out.
