| Yesterday (Sept. 16), 6 bus lines connecting Guangzhou and Foshan started service. The e-transportation cards of the two cities can be used on these lines and the lines that are going to be launched.
The house price hike in recent two years forced many Guangzhou white-collars to buy their houses in Foshan instead of Guangzhou. The bus connection will lower their spending in daily commute. It is expected the move will stimulate the talent flow and business between the two cities.
Meanwhile the Guangzhou-Foshan coaches had extended their service by half an hour per day. The latest coach leaves Dali, Foshan at 21:30 for Luochongwei, west Guangzhou.
